Deviation Actions
"In this contest, we want to hear your story. If you are in a place of healing and recovery after battling an illness, addiction or form of abuse, we want to hear how you made it there. In other words, I am looking for a POSITIVE conclusion, even if the majority of the story is dark or explicit (make sure to attach Mature Content filters where appropriate). We want you to be able to share the darkest parts of your journey, and how you made it back into the light. Let me emphasize: we will NOT accept deviations that don't contain some sort of positive message of hope or inspiration. If you would like to write about the journey of someone else's recovery, be it a close friend or family member, and how their journey affected you we will accept that as well, again as long as the conclusion is meant to inspire hope."

A hidden Issue (Eating disorders in climbing)
Ok Listen up. I need everyone to read this. Climbing is my life. My passion… It is the thing I love more than anything. Thing is it’s really messing with my recovery and I guess the problem came when my eating disorder took over and climbing turned from fun to a calorie burning activity a way to mesure my progress in weight loss.
It hasn’t been as much of a problem until recantly I guess that’s because I’ve only just started mentally recovering. Until almost exactly a month ago I was only eating to get away from creepy doctors and weigh ins. Sure I wanted to get better. Live a normal life but the motivation was
PWS (Prader-Willi Syndrome)
In case none of you know me very well, then you should know that I have an eating disorder called Prader-Willi Syndrome. This disorder is when your brain tells your stomach that you’re not full, even though you feel full. It is a genetic disorder caused by chromosome #15 to be either mutated or not have it at all. Prader-Willi syndrome is caused by a gene missing on part of chromosome 15. Normally, your parents each pass down a copy of this chromosome. Most patients with Prader-Willi syndrome are missing the genetic material on part of the father's chromosome. The rest of patients with this condition often have two copies of the mother'
Binge Binge Purge Purge
The need to be skinny

the tiny voice in my head tells me
skinny skinny is the way to be
I don't know how much longer till
my thoughts are a reality

my evil need to be what I'm not
Skinny Skinny Perfect
The words all scream sexy or hot
not much longer till I'm caught
Haven't decided if I'm going to put this in as a real deviation yet. might just keep the idea kicking around here till I decide to do something better with it. This is basically just my daily thought process
I can't get these thoughts of bulimia out of my head..
I try and try but they come back. Fi
If you are struggling.
I know words can sometimes be difficult to listen to. And its not to say you guys are, or aren't.

That song is utterly beautiful, and the video, and meaning behind it is amazing. Even if your not struggling, watch it, pass it on. You never know who it might just help.
All of you are beautiful wonderful people. Don't forget that.
